This month, October 2022, we have released some updates to Scale Procure to make the e-procurement process much simpler with a focus on how to the management of bids and suppliers on the platform.

With these updates, we have now launched a new way for Procuring Entities to manage all their suppliers within the same system. Yes, Buyers can now use this feature to create highly targeted Requests for Quotations for their list of registered suppliers.

Here are the details of the feature updates on Procure;

1. Management of Digital Bids/RFQs

As a Buyer, get rid of the numerous documents and emails involved in creating, publishing, and evaluating your quotations from bidders. We have updated the Request for Quotation (RFQ) section enabling you to:

• Digitally create Requests for Quotations in Four (4) simple steps.
• Keep documents with Instructions to Bidders easily accessible and organized in reusable lists

2. Management of Suppliers

Based on the initial interactions with the system, we have created a module that you can use to manage the list of suppliers. Further, this can be used to target the same suppliers during the bid preparation a lot easier and simpler for Buyers on Scale. There’s no need to keep looking for those spreadsheets!

Thus, as a Buyer you can now easily:

• Create Groups and Categories within which you can organize your suppliers
• Add/Import your existing list of suppliers onto your account directly from excel sheets
• Target your added Suppliers directly from the RFQ creation process

What we are building next…

Within the next few weeks, we’ll go live with some of the functionalities that we have within our roadmap including:

1. Autogeneration of Purchase Orders from the winning bid submissions
2. Direct invoicing from suppliers within the system
3. An end-to-end process for prequalification of suppliers
